Ice cream freezers

From summer 2021 an energy label will apply to ice cream freezers. These products will be required to display an energy label when placed on the market.

Use this form to download an arrow image of this product’s energy efficiency class. This image should be used:

  • on the internet, to link to the full label if you can’t fit the label next to the product's price on screen
  • in visual advertisements, promotional material and paper-based distance selling materials, if the product's energy label is a new-style 'rescaled' label

Why do I need to enter the height of the product's price?

If you use an arrow image to link to the label, the energy efficiency class on the arrow must have the same font size as the product's price. We'll adjust the arrow image so that the height of the energy efficiency class matches the height of the price that you enter here.

If you're using the arrow image in visual advertisements, promotional material or paper-based distance selling materials, the font size of the energy efficiency class must be at least as large as the product's price when the price is shown. If the price isn't shown, the arrow must still be clearly visible and legible.

Should the arrow be in colour or black and white?

Use a colour arrow if you can. You can use a black and white arrow if your material is being printed in black and white. You shouldn't use black and white arrows on the internet.
